Tokyo Bound

After a dramatic final weekend of Olympic Qualifiers we now know who will be competing for Olympic glory in Tokyo!

In the opening weekend Canada Men had broken Irish hearts with a shoot-out win after an enthralling 6-6 aggregate score. However, this weekend the Irish Women overcame the same opposition with a shoot-out win of their own. A goalless two legs came to life as Ireland won 4-3.

Great Britain Men (9-3), Women (5-1) and Germany Men (10-3) & Women (9-0) overcame Malaysia, Chile, Austria and Italy respectively to qualify with relative ease.

India Men beat Korea 11-3 whilst India Women beat USA to qualify for only their third Olympics but second in succession. New Zealand completed a full house for Australasia with a 6-2 win over Korea.

Last weekend Netherlands Men overcame Pakistan (10-5), Spain Men edged past France 6-5 whilst the Women beat Korea 4-1.
