Zach Wallace joins Grays

"I want to be the best player in the world...that's what I'm chasing"
Grays are pleased to announce the signing of Great Britain and England star Zach Wallace on a long term deal. Zach is one of the biggest talents in world hockey and was nominated for the FIH Rising Star Award in 2019 at only 20 years old. Zach is currently playing his club hockey in the Dutch Hoofdklasse for HGC.
Following in his Dad's footsteps Zach played junior hockey at Oxted before joining Surbiton. Despite setbacks, including not being selected for England U18s at the first attempt, Zach has gone on to prove he more than has what it takes. With 61 combined caps for GB & England he has ambitions to be the best and to win the Olympics with Great Britain.
Zach Wallace “I am delighted to be joining Grays on my journey towards Paris 2024 and onwards. I believe this will be a very successful period for England and Great Britain and in collaborating with such a well respected brand in Grays, I look forward to this helping to create many memorable moments throughout.”
Richard Gray CEO Commercial “We are delighted that Zach is joining the Grays team as he is such a genuinely exciting prospect. We are all looking forward to supporting him in developing his professional hockey career. As part of our wider, long-term relationship, we also look forward to working closely with Zach to develop Grays products to meet the needs of the new generation of hockey players."
Zach joins teammates Chris Griffiths, David Condon, Harry Martin, Rhys Smith and Will Calnan on #TeamGrays.
