Excellent for tall people

"So I'm a 6'6" male with about a 35" inside leg, and I use these (I bought them in XL) for HEMA (Fencing). In HEMA, It's particularly difficult to get adequate shin protection that cover everything from just below the knee, for a reasonable price. If you buy the HEMA specific protectors, you can be expected to fork out anywhere upwards of about £60+, more if you get them tailored. With these, not only did I find the fit to be perfect, but the protection is superb (Able to protect against a military sabre blade without issue) and, perhaps most importantly, they're both light weight and stay in place when you're performing explosive movements such as a lunge. One thing I would mention, if it is not obvious, that I do use these, and would recommend using these, under something like a rugby/football long sock - just to help keep them in place."
