If you're a versatile player looking to dominate your core skills, while simultaneously seeking a stick to help your all-round gameplay, the DB Collection is the perfect place to start. Designed for exceptional all-round performance, the trusted Dynabow profile combines outstanding control, precision and power, making it a favourite among club players and our international atheltes. Leading the range is the all-new DB10, developed in collaboration with Belgian international Victor Wegnez ahead of the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup.

Ready to discover why the Dynabow remains one of the most popular Grays Hockey Sticks? Let's take a closer look.

1. What is the Grays Hockey DB Range?

The Grays Hockey Dynabow has been engineered for those looking to thrive as a versatile player. Due to the Dynabow’s sweeping curve and slim mid-section, this relatively straighter bow profile offers a precise, responsive touch, perfect for quick hand movements and a dynamic range of passing – all whilst. An exceptional choice for midfielders and versatile players looking to control a variety of areas across the pitch.

Its signature feature is a sweeping, gradual curve positioned at a mid-intensity bow (24.75mm at 250mm from the head). This unique design allows for an excellent blend of fundamental skills and advanced techniques.

  • Slim Mid-Section: The slim profile in the middle of the stick allows for quick hand movements, giving you superb stick handling and a responsive feel on the ball.
  • Micro Head: The Dynabow is often paired with our Micro head shape - this compact head is ideal for executing modern 3D skills, aerials, and flicking the ball with precision.
  • 5 Variations: The Dynabow comes in 5 models, all differing in carbon composition, designs and price points.

2. Why Choose The Grays Hockey Dyanbow

The strategic engineering within the Dynabow's design is all centred around balance. Whilst consistently giving you the power you need for a strong hit or slap, the DB sticks maintain the touch required for intricate dribbling and passing. These clear advantages are a strong reason why many midfielders and versatile players who need to control every area of the pitch continue to put their trust in the iconic Dynabow - a fact proven on the international stage by some of the best players in the world. Here’s a few clear reasons to back to range;

  • Precise Passing - The sweeping mid-bow profile encourages clean ball contact, making accurate passing and distribution feel effortless whether you're switching play or finding teammates through tight spaces.
  • Outstanding First Touch - Receiving under pressure is one of hockey's most important skills. The Dynabow's balanced shape provides excellent cushioning and control, helping players bring the ball under control quickly and confidently.
  • Confident Ball Carrying - Combined with the signature Micro Head, the Dynabow allows players to carry the ball naturally while maintaining close control. The compact thinner head shape also makes quick dribbling, tight turns and developing 3D skills far easier.
  • Hitting Power - While prioritising control, the Dynabow still generates impressive power. Whether you're driving out from defence or striking from the top of the circle, the profile offers the perfect balance between power and precision.

Simply put, if you're looking for one stick that performs brilliantly in every situation, the Dynabow continues to shine at the top end of our entire Grays Hockey Stick Collection

3. Meet The Grays Hockey DB10 – Our Flagship Model

Sitting at the top of the Dynabow Collection, the DB10 has been engineered for players who demand elite all-round performance, and is backed by Olympic, European and World Cup Champions. Built upon the trusted Dynabow profile, it combines a mid-intensity bow with Grays' signature Micro Head to deliver exceptional touch, precise passing and effortless 3D skill execution. Using our highest composition of carbon and unique material layup, the DB10 exclusively offers more stiffness, while generating the explosive power needed for powerful hitting.

At the heart of the DB10 is an advanced Graphene-enhanced material matrix. Stronger than steel yet exceptionally lightweight, Graphene maximises stiffness and energy transfer throughout the stick, producing outstanding power while acting as a natural dampener to reduce vibrations and improve shock absorption. The result is a stick that feels incredibly responsive and balanced, but has the ability to produce the power you require.

Completing the flagship model is an exclusive new DB10 Red colourway, developed in collaboration with Belgian international Victor Wegnez ahead of the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup. Finished with exposed carbon detailing, premium foils and enhanced grip characteristics, the DB10 not only performs at the highest level but looks every bit the part too. Here’s what Victor had to say on the new DB10, and his mindset going into the World Cup later this summer:

“I typically don’t have a preference of the design of a stick, but I must admit I'm extremely happy to have a stick that represents my country! When I learned it was possible to get a stick in my country's colours, I was thrilled and eager to see the result. I think it's magnificent! They always say every detail counts, and I hope this one will be important too!

The World Cup and the Olympics are truly the most important tournaments. They only happen once every four years. Of the last four World Cups, three were held in India. I was lucky enough to participate in the last two. For me, playing in a World Cup at home is a dream, a unique opportunity. A World Cup in your own country—not everyone has the chance to experience that. I'll have my family and friends in the stadium for the first time for a World Cup, and that's priceless. We hope the fans will support us through good and bad moments to go as far as possible!”

4. What The Grays Hockey Players Think Of The DB Range

Scotland Captain and Great Britain Olympic Bronze Medalist, Sarah Robertson has trusted the Dynabow for nearly a decade as she navigates through international tournaments, podium battles and domestic glory. Here’s a quick quote as to why she backs the DB:

“I have played with the Dynabow for over 5 years now and have never looked back. Being a versatile player across the front line and in midfield, I find the DB is the perfect choice for me to handle any situation I find myself on the pitch. The touch and control really stands out, and I love the thinner head shape that allows me to quickly use my 3D skills, and compliments my back hand hitting very well.”
