1. Late Drama & Emphatic Statements: The Women’s Semi-Final
Sutton Coldfield edged past Holcombe HC in a pulsating contest that went right down to the wire. With less than 60 seconds on the clock, Sutton Coldfield produced a brilliantly executed penalty corner routine to send them into the finals - a viral moment that sent benches, teammates and supporters leaping from their seats. With several Grays Hockey athletes represented across both sides, it was a proud moment to see so many battling it out at the highest level – all with a Grays Hockey Indoor hockey stick in hand!
The second semi-final saw reigning champions East Grinstead, our Grays Hockey teamwear partner club, underline their title credentials with an emphatic 8–4 victory over Surbiton HC. Playing with pace and confidence, East Grinstead powered their way into another final, looking to prove a point. The EG Faithful were ever present as they cheered their team to victory yet again.
2. Grays Hockey’s Reigning Champions Deliver, Once Again: The Women’s Final
As expected, the women’s final was a tightly fought, high-intensity battle from the first whistle to the last. End-to-end action, relentless pressure and fine margins defined the contest as Sutton Coldfield pushed East Grinstead all the way.

The second semi-final between Wimbledon and Surbiton was a showcase of attacking indoor hockey at its very best.
