HOOFDKLASSE SEMI-FINALS

HOOFDKLASSE SEMI-FINALS
A weekend of heartbreak, unbelievable scorelines and plenty of goals - the Hoofdklasse delivers yet again!
After a tense weekend of hockey, the final two have booked their place in next week’s grand finale, after coming out victorious across two nail-biting legs.

For the men, we witnessed reigning champions Kampong take revenge on Bloemendaal after their EHL heartbreak as the boys in blue stormed to an impressive 8-3 victory over the course of the two fixtures - Grays athlete Derck De Vilder had this to say heading into the fixture - “Hopefully they’ll be a lot of goals. I’m expecting exciting matches with high-quality hockey. As I said before, we have something to prove after the EHL. We won’t back down without a fight.” - the team certainly bought the fight and took their opportunity when it mattered most!

It was a very different story for the other finalist, as AH&BC edged out a spirited Den Bosch 6-5 on aggregate with both sets of players giving everything for their clubs - a spectacular battle for the fans which has set up a huge final.

The 23/24 women’s final is set for a dramatic rematch as both SCHC and Den Bosch secured their places in this year’s title deciding fixture!

SCHC defeated Pinoke after a dominating first leg display saw them 5-0 up, which proved a feat too difficult to overturn with the aggregate scoreline 6-1 as the final whistle blew.

Den Bosch were put to the test in the first leg against an AH&BC side struggling for form, as they entered the reverse fixture only 3-2 up. However, their elite winning mentality saw them roar back in front of a passionate home crowd to end the battle 6-2 on aggregate!

We’re immensely proud that several elite athletes continue to trust our products on the biggest of stages, in their most important moments.
