Nottingham Hockey Centre delivered one of the best weekend’s of hockey as the 24/25 season came to an epic close - and our Grays athletes were right at the heart of the action.
Surbiton HC were crowned champions for the first time since 2020, after a hard-fought 2-1 win over league favourites Old Georgians HC - with Struan Walker once again stepping up when it matters most for his team, scoring an outrageous winner in the 42nd minute. A total of 4 Grays athletes lifting the trophy!

Reading HC defied the odds, and secured their first league title since 2013 with a narrow 1-0 win over Surbiton HC. Long-serving Grays athlete Jo Pinner producing a masterclass in midfield to bring home the gold. Annie Wilson’s first league season with the club brought immediate success!
Wimbledon HC secured their spot at the EHL for next season as they claimed bronze after they edged out Oxted on shootouts, whilst East Grinstead HC battled hard to defeat Hampstead and Westminster HC 3-2 to take home the bronze.
